I built that one a couple years ago out of nostalgia. I bought a used '73 Challenger with 108,000 miles on it when I was 16 as my first car. I paid $600 for it and the 318 Mopar engine and steel body were nearly indestructible. Lots of good memories with that one...the kit wasn't bad either.
Its one of my favorite Muscle cars, when I saw it on sale I just had to pick it up.

Meanwhile I had a Roden day!

Image

The Nieuport came from a Hobby shop in Orleans, conveniently situated on the way to my new doctor :)
The Fokker and SE5a were going cheap on Ebay, so they went!

Roden do supply the camo decal for the Fokker, so I think I might do a 1920 Polish version.

They will all be built, as I have the S&M Models Post War British Piston Trainers Decal Sheet which has 14 Chipmunk schemes on it. But perhaps not built all at once...

Ayup Tom...

LOL.

Bought two tins of paint and some more thinners today, but resisted the temptation to buy a T11 giftset...

Ten Chipmunks?!?. Hang on, names: Red 1, Red 2, Red 3... :ha: :ha:

Also bought an Italeri Hellcat F6F-3, Airfix Tiger Moth (to replace the one I broke), and a Revell/Matchbox He115 for my Battle of Britain group of kits. Think they were involved somewhere..
Hoping to return to modelling sometime this year!!

No problem Chris, not everyone knows that lightning actually discharges up from the ground to the sky initially before the downstroke follows the ionised path back down in the familiar flash of light ;-)
