Might only be a baby but he looks lean, mean and ready to sting!

Nice comparison :)

The What-If Spur fighter from the Biggles GB.

A Westland Whirlwind, modified to be a two-seater, with a conventional tail and engines with big scoops on.

And the Snipe chugs along too

The Biggles Camel gets an upper wing and machine guns.

Image

Meanwhile the Pup finally gets the rudder on and just needs serials and rudder decals.

Lemon and Lime?
Unusual!
The flavor of the lemon does not overpower the flavor of the lime ?
Sometimes the talent consists exactly in that: try five dozen times when others stop at three dozen...! (F.Labelle)
I think that modeling is a subtle mix of zen philosophy and absolute crazyness - but in my case I would not dare to specify the respective percentage of each......

Lime is actually stronger than lemon, so I use juice from one lemon and half a lime.

Meanwhile, the top was resprayed.

That picture was taken with no flash, unlike the ones from earlier today.

Decals for two Biggles civilian What-Ifs, the Pup, the Camel and some spare generic instrument panel decals for inter-war biplanes.

Three nearing the finish line. Any clues as to what's next?

Excellent work with these Andrew and, as always, I'm impressed with any attempt at home made decals!

Here's the Biggles Camel with the rest of the decals on.

And here is the Biggles "Spur" What-If, based on the Westland Whirlwind.

This needs the props finishing off and the canopies installing.

Nice Camel and the Biggles "Spur" is very intriguing - a great looking whiff from the Whirlwind I have to say.
