And here she is, complete. Still not convinced by the fuselage roundels.... I also see a couple of touchy-uppy bits before she makes her Trans-Atlantic flight.

Unfortunately, no. Its the day before we fly out, so we'll spend the day packing and getting ready.

I had a Hobbyboss F-84G stuck in my Closet of Doom! TM for ever, due to the fact that Hobbyboss makes totally crap decals....

Then, one day, when I was rummaging through my decal stash for something totally different, I realized that Modeldecal sheet 50 has markings for a USAF F-84G! Bonus! But wait - there's more! There are markings for TWO USAF F-84Gs! So, I pulled out the other one in my stash and made it, airbrushed them last weekend and did the decals this week. Result?

F-84G of 77th FBS, 20th FBW, RAF Weathersfield, 1953:



I might have to send these to the UK for display on the Cold War SIG tables.
