IPMS/USA Nationals, 50th Anniversary

Post by philp »

Hi all,
Just got back home today after spending the last 2 weeks on vacation. First took the daughter to visit my folks who live in Milford, Delaware. Then had to haul her back to BWI so she could fly home for school while I continued down to Hampton, Virginia for the show.

Took a bunch of pics, judged Miscellaneous on Friday night and managed to get a few museums in during the trip.

If interested, take a look.

Impressive spread of subjects. Dinosaurs seem popular!

Herculean effort Phil...thanks for showing me some of the things I missed. Nice to see that you got a couple of my models in there too. The Basler BT-67 was awarded "Best Canadian Subject" by IPMS Canada. I was stunned, but well chuffed.

The BT-67 was yours? Very nice. Have wanted to try that conversion, maybe as a gunship. Is the build posted here?

Would have been nice to say hi.

Just noticed that while my album shows 1900 pics in it, only 1000 are showing. Looks like I will have to open another one and repost the rest.

Next year it is in Columbus, OH and a planned tour to the Museum of the Air Force.

Personally, I plan on going a few days early and spend 2 or 3 days at the museum. I have heard it really takes that long.
