I spotted a Curtiss Condor in the edge of the shots of the Ferrarri (?) 1930s racer. Wouldn't happen to have a picture of it?....

Some great looking models there Dazzled. I will have to try and make it along with my East German collection to one of these gatherings.

The cutaways were in the competition. The Mil Mi-6 and one of the Lancs were by the same modeller and took 7 and 5 years to complete respectively. One of the judges told me that this chap had come over from Poland for a couple of weeks and was going home with 5 trophies.Jagewa wrote:Geez Daz thanks for posting those, cracking photos.

If it's 1930s, it won't have been a Ferrari. They only started making their own cars after World War 2. The Ferrari team existed in the 1930s but in those days Enzo more or less ran and managed the works Alfa Romeo team - so the cars carried the prancing horse.VickersVandal wrote:Thanks for sharing those.
