Catching Up: Part 1

Post by Barry »

Where does the time go! I've been very negligent about posting. These are my completions from the first quarter if this year. From January, the Vezda release of this Frog classic.
The Fokker VII Southern Cross. (with aftermarket engines)

Next, also from January, the Douglas F5D Skylancer, a vacuform from Project X 1/72.

And, from March, the Revell/Matchbox release of the Premier Beech AT-11.

Great work Barry. All well built. Glad you are back around.

Nice collection of unusual builds. Very interesting.
Really nothing pithy to say.

I particularly like the Skylancer. You don't see many of those.

Nice to see that Skylancer. Maintrack vacs covered some unusual subjects.

I love the engine detail on the Southern Cross.

Love the detail you've added to the Fokker and the "I can't believe it's a Pioneer kit" Beech.

Thanks James...when there's a cowling, detailing usually disappears into the shadows; but with those three sitting out there all naked like, I figured they deserved the extra attention.

It's great to see some of your excellent work again Barry and I particularly like that AT-11.

That is the best Southern Cross that I have seen - those engines are superb. It is very difficult to believe that the moulds for this model date from the 1950's: - a really good idea to replace the engines though.
