MPM 1/72 PT-19 (M-62 Cornell)
PT-19
Norwegian Army Air Service
A sweet little aircraft. The kit is so so.
Fit of interior is pretty bad. A lot of cutting, scraping and sanding was needed to get it all to fit inside fuselage.
The wings were another thing. The shape of them doesn't seem to fit the fuselage at all, you'd think they belong to a different kit. This left the wing tip at front and back barely touching the fuselage, had to be superglued on, and major gap filling in between. A big hole like a half moon. All that putty was literally speaking what held the wings in place. At this time I wish I had three hands.
The rest has been pain free. Excellent decals. A build I enjoyed. All brush painted as usual.

Confused as always, and somewhere in hiding on the Scandinavian peninsula...

Terrific crisp and clean build, the canopy framing looks great.

Enjoying trying to make them look real.

Nice work. A beautiful gloss finish.

Great job as usual Prisca! Colourful scheme, and I love the wooden propellor. I am still impressed with the results you get with brush painting. I use an airbrush because when I use a conventional brush it looks like I've put the paint on with a trowel......
Lovely model. I've never done an MPM, but it sounds like a bit of a mixed bag.

Ms. Sissel;
Shortly, clean job for brush.... Vanskelig å modellere, men resultatet ser fint. Gratulerer.
Regards,
Maketci.

That is really nice and takes me back to my childhood when I had a control line flying model of one of these.

Beautiful Sissel Makes me wish I'd done mine in those colors . Excellent wing/fuselage join too...can't tell that there was ever a problem with it.

Gorgeous work again, Sissel.
How the heck do you get such perfect paintwork with a brush?
