Revell/Monogram 1/72 B-52

Post by Falcon »

Been working on this for a while now and I think I can say it is finished (or as finished as it is going to get).

Not brilliant by any means but it looks pretty cool.

I dislike you now.
Mine has been languishing for over five years and seeing yours has brought on feelings of inadequecy.........

Great finish, though. Well done. Have you got room to display it? You can't leave it on the floor!

Great looking model. Remembering the kit from years ago, it was a "big one".
Also remember some of the kits had a jet noise sound device. Lyell

I´ve always wanted one of these just for the sheer absurdity of it! I always look at the wing root and think did they use enough glue? True icon of aviation history.

That's really a smart looking B-52 mate, smashing finish. Like Ian says, where do you display that?
Best Regards

Superb build Chris mate. Nice one. That looks ready to drop a bucket of sunshine on someone.

All the best.

Cheers guys.

I have had to clear an entire shelf just for this huge aircraft.

The model didn't require any additional strengthening, fortunately.

Very nice, Chris!

Good finish - I chickened out when I did mine - I did it in camo!

Really nice work, I did mine in SEA Camo, it is a rough kit in some ways but a nice one to build and reminds of the ads in the back of my old comic books for the big Monogram kits.

This is where and how I display my bigger kits.
