Re: PBR me ASAP
Jeff, that is gonna still haunt some VCs! Super realistic so far.
Re: PBR me ASAP
Seem to remember Revell/Monogram released a PBR a long time ago, they re-released it with a Huey in a "Rambo" tie in later on, I remember the Huey was 1/48, but not sure if the PBR was the same scale.splash wrote:I was thinking the same, having just watched "Apocalypse Now" last week on TV, I have the urge to build one, its a shame they don't do one in 1/48 like the swift boat.Old_Tonto wrote:Bother. Now I want one!
Great build Jeff.
As OT said, great build Jeff.

Re: PBR me ASAP
Hi Muttzley. Monogram issued a RAG boat, a swift boat and a coastal junk but not a PBR. Revell has re-issued them over the years. Thanks for looking.

This is a great build Jeff. The kit does have some great detail that you're enhancing nicely

Re: PBR me ASAP
Well gentlemen, I am calling this one finally done. It was an enjoyable build with much details and many extras that really set off the finished model. The fire extinguisher actually belongs in a rack but my zest to get things wrapped up I forgot to put it in place before the top went on. But it looks OK on the decking.

Brilliant job on that. Are you going to add the water skiing set-up?

Great Job ! I particularly note the weathering/fading of the "canvas" sunscreen ....

Water skiing would make a great conversion.

You've done a really great job of that Jeff. Water skiing behind a PBR? that would be novel - it might be a bit of a beast to hold on to though! Still, painted in a brighter scheme and with the guns replaced with some hot bikini clad babes draped at strategic places around the deck, it would cause quite a stir at the local marina
