I'm hoping someone will be able to point me in the direction of some photos of this beastie.

I have the Airfix Magazine with the late-war Vosper version which mounted these, so I have a plan for it,
but I'm unable to find anything on t'web with pictures.

Thanks for any and all help.

Cheers

Rick

I think I have a picture of a Molins Gun from Duxford - will have a look when I get home at the end of the week...from memory it's a bit underexposed but it's the only time I've seen any image of a Molins except for the barrel protruding under the nose of a Mosquito...

Cool, that'll work - I'm only working in 1/72, so will be able to fudge/ignore any obscure/too small details...

Thanks

This is the one at Cosford but I didn't take a pic of the sign that went with it as my only memory card was filling up at the rapid rate (why don't they sell these things at museums like batteries?) but I think it was about a proposed land version for D Day - can't think why you might want a clip-fed 6-pounder in a land battle but very cool anyway...

2. You can never have enough automatic weapons on a battlefield. unquote

I quite agree - my motto is usually "When in doubt, empty the Magazine."

Simon - thanks for the shots, that's an interesting beastie.
I wonder how well it would have worked if it had been deployed... Imagine the weight of shot it could have put out!!!!

I wonder if the idea was copied & developed for the 'SkySweeper' 75mm Automatic AA?

Cheers

Re the Skysweeper, probably more a case of similar problems = similar solutions...I'd really like to see the Skysweeper repopped as I think it is the only one of the Renwal armour kits that hasn't been so I can do one in firing mode and one in travelling mode...equally as much I'd be keen for someone, even in resin, pop out this semi-auto 6lber just because (I think) it's cool...
