The Monitor HMS Roberts, Sword Beach ** Finished **

Honoring the 70th Anniversary of D-Day, 6 June 1944, this GB is dedicated to units and equipment of both sides who participated on that day.
The GB runs 6 June to 20 July; your GBL is Lancfan.

Little sloppy around the railings, rigging, and antenna, but ….

The rigging and antennae on the masts are representative, not complete in any regard ….

I don't have a 700 scale white ensign to fly - I will have to fix that ….

I'm happy enough, it's not going onto a contest floor anywhere. Gave me the opportunity to learn some new historical stuff and finally complete a 1/700 ship kit ….

Enjoyed the GB, thanks David & everyone for the encouragement ….

Indeed a fine looking little ship, more so considering the fiddly scale...great work on an unusual but very interesting subject...
