Right, camo is on and relatively painlessly too. Underside is Humbrol 166 Light Aircraft Grey, topside is Tamiya Flat Brown XF-10 and Deep Green XF-26 (the latter with a drop of the brown in just to take the colour down a little). You can see where the masking tape took a chunk of the grey off, which was annoying but not the end of the world.

I found the Humbrol paint really thick and gloopy, to the extent I couldn't actually pick it up in a pipette to mix. I've had the same thing with other Humbrol shades recently, as well.

I have some stencils left over from another Hawk kit, so while they won't be exactly right (They're for a 100-series), they will do to just busy it up a bit.

Coming on well. Shame about the under gray coming away. Hope you can patch it up.

Sweet. Looks quite sinister in that scheme.

It's a bit gloomy today but I'll see if I can get some better-lit shots.

Thats nice Brickie, I like it a lot. Sorry, I haven't PM'd re decals yet, will do so tonight. You experience with the paints is much like what I've found with the new blue made in the UK tins, very thick & gloopy to the point of being a Pita. ;-)

Nice work, the deep and wide panel lines on that kit could make a green and brown camo look like a ploughed field, but you've kept it all looking right

Is it not its 'natural' habitat? :)
