Rugby World Cup

Done by the Welsh! Good game, good game. Two great kickers and some blood and tears. Bring on the convicts! :ha:

It was a cracking game with plenty of hard fought rugby. Fair play to the Welsh for a 'never say die' attitude but I think that their injury woes will knock them out of the competition in the later stages. England are facing a real test next weekend now with a must win game against the Aussies so I'll keep my fingers crossed :ha:

I'm enjoying the heck out of this World Cup.. not least because of the improvement of the Tier 2 nations: seems like the days of 100-3 annihilations are gone. The likes of Georgia, USA, Namibia and Romania are all emerging from defeat with considerable credit. And then, of course, there's Japan. What a game.

I'll be glad when it's over and Lancaster gets the boot. To say I'm unimpressed with his leadership and selection is a massive understatement. Well done to Wales on hopefully accelerating his demise and playing some great rugby.

Anybody remember fast backs? An England winger being picked for pace and not tackling ability? Putting the ball out wide as an aim instead of a last resort? I don´t.

At least it's consistent for England. Go to a competition, play a few games then watch everyone else carry on without us!. The sport doesn't seem to make much difference to this formula!!.

Huge game for us today.. our WC begins in earnest! Obviously qualification is the main aim, but every point matters with a view to winning the group and avoiding those nice Kiwi gentlemen in the QF

Not to mention sub-saharan Africa, the Indian sub continent and Australasia. Still at least our major European neighbours such as France, Germany, Spain and Russia don´t have any issues with us.
