Excellent job, Mike. I have dug out a Tamiya Mosquito with the aim of using this wood grain effect to show off its construction. I'm using this idea, but will be hand brushing. I should have a proper airbrushing bay set up this year, but still enjoy the hairy stick approach. I am having some very encouraging results from the Vallejo acrylic metallic finishes.
So many models, so little time.
