Re: How about an Airliner Build? ***Poll added***
I voted for September but will follow the crowd. My build will either be the Airfix Bristol Superfreighter in Car ferry guise or a DC-3.

Its not just how good your painting is, its how good the touch-ups are too.

There's a 1/144 Airbus 350 in the stash that is a clear candidate for this..Sir T wrote:Is anyone else planning on doing a 1/144 model or is it just me?!

Cool - so another couple of 1/144's!
I'm thinking of getting another old Airfix kit, maybe another Boeing or something British - VC10 maybe.

If I play, it will be a last minute thing decided by my calendar and workbench state.
I have a resin Boeing Model 40 in 1/72 but it is quite complex - build, rigging, paint - and I want to be sure I have the time to do it right.

I have a 747 plus Concorde and the Airfix F27, however during July I will be off on a real one so any month but then.

Sorry Shane - looks like July's the winner - I'll PM John when I've worked out the dates.

If I'm not on my hols, I'll join in with either a Revell A340 in Swiss colours or A380 in QANTAS markings.

Hi Guys,
Just a bump on this – I think we should have enough interest to meet the new 8 builds requirement for this, but can anyone who’s still planning on joining in let me know – thanks!
Also, would anyone be interested in being assistant GBL on this – although I’m fully committed it’s been a bit of a busy year thus far and I’d rather not get caught out.
(Still deciding what to build – I need to get myself a kit as was thinking an RS models Airspeed Envoy).
Cheers Guys.

You might need to PM some hombres, if you haven't already.
Also, it's only been 2 days since you bumped this, so I imagine many of the less active members haven't seen it yet. People who are on once a week or so would have a tsunami of recent posts to sift through every time. Easy to miss something like this.
Also, I don't mind being assistant GBL if you're still looking for one.
