I'm thinking "cylindrical" too. I hope we're not planning the same thing.

I think you're probably safe! In my experience, to most people, "Being on the same wavelength" as me appears to be the precursor to some kind of breakdown! :???:

That's a good example, and something we should clear up.

If you are going for the model = CD theme "trophy", you don't need to possibly ruin a good CD - you can mount your model on a blank CD, just have the theme CD available.

That's probably obvious to everyone, but ....

Just verifying something. Does it have to be built on an actual CD/DVD or can I cut a wooden base to the same diameter as a CD?
Sorry if I've missed something here ;-)

Another Bump, to keep interest up. We have quite a number who have expressed interest.

Informally, what are you thinking about specific start time and length ?
Typically, our "mojo builder" starts about 25 December and runs through the end of January - sound right ?

Oh, this looks like great idea.. I'm in and happy to go with the flow (does this count as a poll vote? Can't see where to actually vote). Now to rack branez for a suitable theme/subject.
Is this your sanderling?.
