Airfix 1/72 New Tool Gnat SKGB

Post by Brickie »

Despite a sudden spurt of interest in the Panzer IV (and I still think a non-a/c Group Build would be good for a bit of variety), it seems that the Gnat is the most popular option.

A date in May or later has been tentatively suggested, to allow the kit time to filter through to the Colonies - signups and thoughts here.

Gnat's the way aha aha I like it aha aha etc

This sounds tempting as I haven't yet experienced one of the Airfix newbies and May sounds a long way off. Heck I might have even finished my long suffering F100 and my Big Boeing by then

I'll say I'm in for this one, but please don't get the dog on if I subsequently can't commit!

Further to my above reply I've voted Gnot sure as I'm not 100% at the moment but I would ultimately like to see this GB take place as it is featuring a new Airfix kit. If at all poss I will take part. August is a no no for me date wise.

Soz for being a pain and lacking in the moral fibre to commit right now

March issue of Jets Monthly has articles on the Folland Gnat showing good close ups of a/c in different colour schemes.

I'd like to but I'm afraid I've reserved May for the upcoming Falklands GB.
