Swiss Air Force GB ** Completed **

Post by PaulBradley »

The Swiss Air Force is the air component of the Swiss Armed Forces; it was established on 31 July 1914 as part of the army and in October 1936, became an independent service. The SAF has operated a huge variety of aircraft over the course of 100 years - something for everyone, I dare say.

Anyone fancy a GB in September or October to commemorate this event?

I'm in. October would be nice, I might think of something a bit different to build.

I'm thinking of either doing something with more then one engine, or a jet. Most likely the jet. If only I could find something reasonably priced though.

I have a Heller Buecker Juengmeister with Swiss decals somewhere about. October sounds good.

I have been thinking of doing one for some time, either an MS 406 or a late model 109 that I have in the stash with appropriate decals so count me in.

Cool - 5 other participants already! Some nice choices of subject coming out here - and plenty more to choose from.

October sounds as if it's the month of choice. Any more for any more?

This sounds cool, but I'm wary of committing to GBs later in the year as I'll possibly/probably/hopefully have a) a proper job again and b) something thespy in the works.

Otherwise, quite possibly.

I've been wanting to do a Morane-Saulnier M.S.406 in Swiss colours ever since seeing one at Flying Legends last year. October's good for me.

Sounds interesting, have a Mustang, a BF109 and a Vampire in mind.
