Culdrose 2015 (part2)

Post by Titan »

These are the rest of the displaying aircraft and helicopters from this years show. I have been to quite a few airdays at Culdrose over the years and this was for me the best by far.

Well that's that for another year.......oh did I mention that I also went to this years Duxford 75th BoB anniversary show, what a Spitfire fest that was. I may have taken one or two photos of them, maybe I'll dig them out ;-) ;-)

Some fantastic shots there Mark; I especially like the Pitts Specials and the Lynx....

What kit are you running with now?
Best wishes

Jim

Thanks Chris and Iggie.

I am now using a Nikon D5300 with a Tamron SP AF 70-300 F/4-5.6 Di VC USD Lens and it is a giant leap from my old Pentax K100d with a Tamron AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD attached to it.
I would never have managed the shots with the old kit like I did with the Hornet and Mig29 photos from the Culdrose 2015 part 1 post using the new kit that's for sure.

Thanks for the camera info - I have a D3100 and have been thinking about a xx-300 lens recently.

It would be a wise investment John, it'll certainly make a lot of difference to the clarity of your photos not to mention being able to fill your photos with more of your subject. I certainly wouldn't have got thge Hornet and Mig 29 shots from my Culdrose part one post thread using my old lens that's for sure.

Thanks Novo and Jeff.

Unfortunately not Novo...they ran the engines and trundled up and down the runway a few times, still it was good to see them moving and also to hear them.
