I know what you mean, if you could see under the IP's of a lot of my kits you would see that most of the pilots are of the "Douglas Bader" mold!!Sir T wrote:he's not going to fit without a serious amount of file work around his legs and un-mentionable regions,

''SHOCK'' - you can't do that!! haven't you seen Toy Story - when your models come alive when your not looking how on earth is he supposed to fly!!!Molly-new wrote:I know what you mean, if you could see under the IP's of a lot of my kits you would see that most of the pilots are of the "Douglas Bader" mold!!Sir T wrote:he's not going to fit without a serious amount of file work around his legs and un-mentionable regions,

I am annoyed.... I got home today to find some the decals had fallen??? off for some reason. Can't for the life figure out why. I can only assume they were too dry... thankfully I have managed to find the door stencil, but I have lost some from around the nose.... not a good days modelling.

progress...(well a little),
Still battling decals - even though I thought I'd put the wing roundals in the correct place, the walkway lines are coming up short...never mind, easy fix. Test fitted the canopy, I've got to tidy it up next. Hopefully I'll be on target to varnish it over the weekend

Almost done, just some paint touch ups and a gloss coat to do. I'm not really happy with it but it is what it it is....

A good build Stuart
I built that one myself in February, and it's a great kit.
