Gloster Meteor NF14 (T) WS744 portrayed as it was in the late 60's early 70's as a Gate Guardian at RAF Hospital Ely that I had to attend as a child, so I remember this Meteor well. Later in the 70's it was repainted in a camouflage scheme. Today it has been restored and moved to an aviation museum on the island of Malta.

Meteor III (Airfix) depicted as EE937 one of two such Meteors loaned to Flight Refuelling Ltd and modified with a nose mounted fuel probe to pioneer the method of Probe and Drogue flight refuelling:
