The model is nearly complete now, all that remains is to fit the undercarriage & stores and touch in the last of the rogue decal film to complete the model this weekend.

Re: Lancfan's PM Models 1/72 Argentinian AF Dagger
The final details have at last been added, although this kit does need some work to complete to curent standards and is not the best that PM have done (there seems to be three standards of tooling in the PM range, this kit being in the middle ground as regards quality (different contractors?)) but it does build very well and like many of the PM range it does make a good "tooth cutter" for the novice and is a cheap subject for experiment, practice and fun.
The worst part of this build was applying the transfers as the PM decals had a distinct
"comic book" appearance about them and the more accurate Airfix additions I chose to use with them turned out to be of very poor quality, the rectification that followed made the job of finishing this build rather irksome, decent decals would have made this model a breeze to finish, let us hope that when the best of these kits finally do re-appear they will come with better transfers.
David.

Nice, not a lot can be done with that crummy PM kit.

If you want a cheap, easy to build model this is ideal but if you want an accurate Dagger I would suggest the Italeri kit.Old_Tonto wrote:Certainly looks the part David. Great job.
