Huddersfield Show - February 15th 2015
Well Huddersfield has been confirmed!
As you can see in this thread: http://uamf.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=8029&start=45; my Vulcan is coming along quite well and if I have my way it will be ready for the first shows of 2015 with 2 possibly 3 other big models.
The themes for the show are Big Sticks - Heavy Aircraft and Mud Moving - Soviet and NATO Armour.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
Heres the address for everyone who needs it:

Re: Huddersfield Show 2015
That is a fabulous looking beast Chris and I look forward to seeing it in the flesh. Are you using a Transit van to get it there or do the wings come off to make transportation easier?
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

The wings are not glued in place to make it a lot easier to transport.

Re: Huddersfield Show 2015
Beautiful Chris - looking forward to seeing that. While on the subject of big sticks perhaps you can help me - does a B-1B Lancer count as a Cold War subject or it is a bit late for that?
Cheers
Al.

B-1B is indeed a Cold War big stick, providing the markings are pre 1992.

Damn, kit decals are for 1993 and 1998 schemes. I may have to source some after market decals from the look of it.Falcon wrote:B-1B is indeed a Cold War big stick, providing the markings are pre 1992.

I might have something in my decal bank that will suit Al, providing you're working in 1/72, let me check when I get home and I'll pm you.

Re: Huddersfield Show 2015
Thanks for the offer Tom, but hey, it's me you're talking to mate - why would I bother with that fiddly little 1/72 scale when you can go large with the 1/48th version!TomW wrote:I might have something in my decal bank that will suit Al, providing you're working in 1/72, let me check when I get home and I'll pm you.
