Stuart's Low level warriors!

From 1 April 1918, to present, celebrating anything RAF -- land, sea, air, person -- any kit, any scale, not whiffs. This GB incorporates the 617 Sqn/Opn Chastise 75th GB. Originally a 3 month GB, it is now super-extended through the rest of 2018. Part started kits will also be allowed to join.

Looking good Stuart, pity about the decals letting you down. Always a pain when you are so close to the finishing line.

Thanks Chap - it is indeed a pain and I've stalled many a build that way. Thankfully these were just about usable so I've managed to finish it.

It's not my best work, but I'm reasonably happy with it. It's certainly a beast on the shelf - it's blooming huge. I dread to think how big the 1/24 scale model is.

So here we are - Monogram's 1/48 Hawker Typhoon mk.Ib

More pictures in the completed builds section.

Cheers!

What's not to love: a real bruiser of an aircraft and your work on that old kit looks very convincing.

I think that looks very good, Stuart and is nicely painted and weathered. The original Typhoon is certainly no shrinking violet and looks like it really means business - they just look well 'ard to me!!
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing
