I tend to stick with that, but I'll give FredK an opportunity to comment.

If it has not been finished within the 'Afternoon' time slot then, no, it cannot go in the Finished Gallery. But do post it up within the build threadjRatz wrote:Not normally, as it was not completed in the GB parameters.rob_van_riel wrote:Do late deliveries still go into the "gallery of completions"?

I was in the middle of posting that that was the sensible way to go, unless you specified otherwise, but you beat me to it by seconds Things stay as the are (final pictures were already in the build thread)fredk wrote:If it has not been finished within the 'Afternoon' time slot then, no, it cannot go in the Finished Gallery. Having participated in this group build, I find myself agreeing with you Crashpilot. I prefer the slower pace at which I generally build - days and weeks rather than hours. Being on a limited budget, every kit I buy becomes a prized possession that requires my best effort to build. I can't do that when I am fighting the clock and just "rushing" through the process. I have never had the interest in participating in a BB. This group build experience just reaffirms my decision not to do any more "rush" builds.Crashpilot wrote:Hey guys, I´m very impressed about what you can knock out in just a couple of hours!
I was going thru my stash, but I couldn´t choose a kit for this GB...
I don´t like to push myself too much when I´m modelling, because, for me, modelling is the discovery
and cherishing of slowness.
...on the other hand, that won´t stop me from participating in a BB some time again, because a 24h-time lapse
for building a model still thrills me, and I find it manageable, for my nature of modelling.
Not budget related for me, but I'm somewhat allergic to deliberately not doing it right, whatever right might mean. Hence my selection of victims; one that I knew could be done right before I even started, the other little more than wreckage to begin with. I don't usually blitz unless I think I can do the kit justice in the permitted timeframe. Mind you, using proper advance planning and the right materials, some kits can be built well within a very short timespan; some of the Bandai SF stuff comes to mind here. Even in those cases, I prefer DNF to a botched build.pmmaker wrote:Being on a limited budget, every kit I buy becomes a prized possession that requires my best effort to build.
