How to keep up with forum activity

Post by JamesPerrin »

I've noticed that many people are reposting GB completions in their Workbench or the relative subsections and then garnering extra interest. Evidently many are not aware of the excellent work that is going on in our group builds. I can only assume that a lot of users are navigating the forum from the homepage and going to the subsections that they are interested in.

There is a very simple way to keep on top of all the new posts on the forum by using the "View new posts" link, I have this as my bookmark for the forum and if you are not already doing so I suggest you do the same: https://uamf.org.uk/search.php?search_id=newposts;

We don't have a massive amount of traffic on the forum so it's easy to skip over subjects that you are not interested in.

I'm putting this here in the hope that as many people will see this post.

Thanks, James. I use this as my default entry point to the forum. It's very helpful.

I admit I had recently started posting my completed GB builds in 'Aviation Modelling' as it did seem that our GB builds were only getting looked at by the other GB participants.

Personally I don't know where you guys find the time to keep up with everything! :-D I manage to keep reasonably up with WW threads but the rest of the forum hardly gets a look in sometimes - I'll try this James, good suggestion.

Been using it for years, on all the forums I visit - it's the only way to go.

yup, first point of call is following email notifications then jumping to the new posts section, maybe i should spend less time reading about modelling and more time actually doing modelling :grin: :grin:

Ok I assume most of if you are using it. I’m reaching out to those who don’t.
