Is there a way to download a whole thread?

Post by DavidWomby »

Can a complete thread be downloaded in one go? I'd like to download some threads I created.

You can only save each page individually. Currently the default setting is 15 post per page.

There is an extension available that allows users to set there own values up to a defined maximum, but that is not currently installed.

Thanks, James. I was afraid that would be the case.

I have got close using this browser extension https://www.printwhatyoulike.com/pagezipper. Using it, I can open the whole thread as one webpage and then download it. The only thing it doesn't do is to download the picture links as links to the correct locations on PostImage. Instead it seems to download copies of the picture itself.

Re copying the images. That’s probably more useful for archiving as we know image hosting sites can disappear.
