Apologies for my lack of time on the forum as of late. Life gets in the way.

There have been a few re-releases of the Demon, so you will be able to find a few of those about and keep your completed one.

On the die cast upgrades. I did finally get into the attic, though I have had to add a new handrail for a bit of support. I can find not a trace of my conversions box. Once I got the Christmas stuff downstairs, I had a good chance to look around and sort out the roof insulation, most of which comes in expensive little boxes these days.

That's a nice model, by the way.
So many models, so little time.

Hi Chuck,
just caught up with you. I do have another Airfix Demon along with the Kora Turret Demon but neither (especially the Kora) are a patch on this. I am, very seriously, considering using the ‘turret’ components from the Kora kit to modify this AMG model. That will absolutely guarantee that AMG will release their own version!
There is no hurry on the winch, the Fairey Battle conversion is not yet near the ‘build’ phase.

A quick update. I am planning to build this model as a ‘turret Demon’ as part of the ‘between the Wars’ GB. I have designed and printed the ‘turret’ for the AMG but I also plan to look at how to convert the Airfix Demon to the turret version. With the situation in Ukraine being what it is AMG Demons are hard/impossible to obtain but Airfix are releasing the Demon again I believe.

Here are views of the printed ‘lobster back’ turrets. On the left the ‘closed’ version and on the right the ‘open’ version.

I will start putting this together later. To follow the build, see my thread in the ‘between the Wars’ `GB.
