Rye Field Models 1/35 Tiger 1 Late, Villers-Bocage with 3D Figure

Post by Tiger Hobbies »

Rye Filed models will release a 80th anniversary 1/35 Tiger 1 Late Production, Battle of Villers-Bocage.

The model will come with a 3D Printed Figure and is due to arrive end of Qtr 1 2024. This is a good value at £43.99 before dealer discount, as one poster on this forum stated you can get 3 Takoms for the price of 2 Rye FIeld models, The RRP on the new Takom is £49.99 so work that one out. Also we have a range of 15 Rye Field models that are now prices about £36.99 tp £39.99 so Tiger 1 007 is now £36.99.

You will notice the box artwork has no image of the tank number on the turret side.
This is due to the fact no one really knows and they have been arguing about this since Wittmann did what he did on that day.

This is what's known, Wittmann Tiger was 205 but that was having maintenance or simply broke down, so Wittmann was dismounted and forward when he saw the British column advancing up the hill, he rushed back to get a Tank and popular belief it was Tiger 222, but it could have been 231 or 212.
So like an earlier Dragon Issue D6947 it comes with all three markings.
