A. When it is three Airfix Mystery Boxes.
Now that both I and my son are armour modellers I could resist the Airfix 1/35 Tanks Mystery Bundle in the 50% off Sale. Add in my club discount and that meant 10 x 1/35 tanks for £135.00 with free P&P, or as I saw it £13.50 per tank. Plus those lovely people at Airfix put my Airfix Club renewal box and club kit in the same bundle. Even though I have three or four Airfix (ex Academy) kits already I was delighted that all 10 are new to me so no duplicates. I've said my son can have whichever ones he wants at cost as long as he lets me have the flying hours back when he's finished with the boxes (he isn't a club member).
Cheers
Al.

I wonder if Airfix isn't trying to shift the "preferred scale" in armor ? Have to listen for the earth groaning.

A good haul. I've been getting some sales kits. Good discounts, free postage and extra points. Very nice.
So many models, so little time.

My son has now taken 5 of the 10 kits off of my hands but the daft thing is I am tempted to "go again" as the bundle is still on offer at £149.00 and as well as another 10% off I have £17 worth of Hobby Points I could use meaning the tanks would average £12.50 each or thereabouts!
