Many thanks for your further kind comments, folks. The gun barrels on the full-size appear to display a slightly splayed appearance, John, rather than the upper and lower pairs being parallel to each other.

I’ve unfortunately completely missed your recent work on this. The result however is rather splendid and the fine detail you’ve added takes it beyond its scale.

I echo what others have said Shaun, it's a superb build of a so-so (from what I've heard) kit - you've done a marvelous job.

I think Alan would have indeed been very impressed with what you did to the base, it looks excellent.
