Although this is pre-war so, arguably, is inappropriate here; 29(F) Sqn received Hurricanes in mid Aug ‘39 but lost them at the end of Sep when they were declared a night fighter squadron, receiving Blenheims once again (but not their original ones).

I have only ever found one photo of the elusive 29(F) Sqn Hurricanes operated by the Sqn from mid Aug to end Sep 1939.
On the morning of 6 Sep Fg Off Kells was involved in a landing accident at RAF Debden, as a consequence a photo of his aircraft was taken at the Cowley crash, repair facility.
This represents his Hurricane Mk1 prior to that accident.
