Sorry for the lack of progress updates, I have got to the stage that I'm not looking forward to and that's the windscreen and nose that is quite a complex shape.
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

It's a steep learning curve working with card, I have learnt that accuracy cutting the parts out makes the job a lot easier and finding the right thickness of the card makes a huge difference.
The design of this model makes life a lot easier than I thought, having just started the difficult cockpit and nose, the parts are going together a lot better than I thought they would

The hardest part is next so I'm letting it dry over night before the next move.

WOW, Alan. Very nice indeed.

The forward fuselage has formed up really well, Splash...a credit to both the designer and the builder...

Re: Splash's 1/48 Virgin HEMS Air Ambulance
Cheers guys.
The nose is now finished. I'm not totally happy with the final pointy bit so I'm going to let it fully set before trying to do anything about it.
Nex stage is the engines and tail

Re: Splash's 1/48 Virgin HEMS Air Ambulance
I'm surprised how easy it is to get quite complex shapes with card, the rear of the engines are made up of two skins and four formers, I thought the pen nip fairings would be difficult but the clever design of the kit made it a relatively simple task.
