Re: The Blueberry Dart
That looks a very nice kit. I bet it has instructions as well
This may be of some help.

Re: The Blueberry Dart
Work on the Dart has started.... I'm painting the insides first before putting it together. I've also been spending time getting rid of the (small amounts) of flash and filling the injection pin moulds.
I need to paint it "Air Defence Grey"... any idea what Humbrol is needed? it should be 164 but that isn't made any more. I think i'm going to buy my first non-humbrol paint!!! Also if i buy acrylic can i use it in conjunction with enamels?

Re: The Blueberry Dart
You can use both enamel and acrylics but the drying time will be a bit different to say the least. The Dagger and the Dart are very very similar in so much when I saw your sprue shot and mine I thought the were the same

Re: The Blueberry Dart
FS 36495 Light Gray, Model Master 1732, and Vallejo 70.907 Pale Grey might be close alternatives.

Thanks. Looking around it looks like this would be a good option - Xtracrylix XA1138 ADC greycoptermech wrote:FS 36495 Light Gray, Model Master 1732, and Vallejo 70.907 Pale Grey might be close alternatives.
Annoyingly i now need to buy one pot of paint and pay more for delivery than the actual paint!

Re: The Blueberry Dart
But some other stuff you need to get the cost per item down. That's what I normally do
Before you do let me check as I may have some enamel that I bought by mistake in that colour

Re: The Blueberry Dart
Here's a whole load of updates....
I've built the main plane....
but it has loads of gaps...
Thankfully they've been easy to fill..
Once the canopy has been masked (gulp) it's ready to be primed.
