Re: Marky's Century choice.
Well, I have a CF-101 built (but it u/c is broken so needs replacing), a F-102 in the stash, a F-104 done, a F-105 done, a F-106 in the stash (likely choice). Oh and an F-100 although I think that's now Splash's territory!!. Not really any gaps!.TobyC wrote:Wise words. Re: Marky's Century choice.
Marky, i'd go for one of the Hase pair. I have a Mbox Voodoo partly done and it has lots of seams that require work, especially the wing / intake area. Not one i'd choose for a quick build.
Re: Marky's Century choice.
I think I will, probably the 106 but if I'm feeling brave, (or stupid!!) I'll do the 102 as well!. I have built the Matchbox 101 in the past and dimly remember what it was like, thanks for reminding me though!. However I have two in the stash...shangos70 wrote:Marky, i'd go for one of the Hase pair. Re: Marky's Century choice.
I've been after the 102+106 but won't pay £30 for the combo pack considering they are almost 40yrs old.
I've just got the newish Voodoo by Revell but I want to take my time with it.
Good luck whichever you plump for.

Re: Marky's Century choice.
I might, just might mind, have two 102's in the stash if you want one for less than £30!!. Will check tomorrow.

Re: Marky's Century choice.
It seems odd that such spectacular aircraft are poorly represented by model companies. Come on Airfix surprise us with one.

Re: Marky's F-106 take 2.
Going to do the 106, the 100, 101 and 102 can wait a while for their turn!.
P.S. This is take 2 as I started the same kit years ago and it's been sitting in the loft built but unpainted and minus it's canopy since then. Still have the decals so will hunt through the spares boxes for the clear parts. Could finish it unless I don't have the part and will need to find another!!.
