Thanks. I know somebody once said one could never have too many Lancasters or even B-17s for that matter. While I don't mind building more than one aircraft type, I have always preferred to have each a different variant. In my case, the Vulture engined Manchester nicely compliments my Lancaster MR3, B.MkII, and Matchbox Tallboy version. Now, on to converting a new mold Revell of Germany B-17F into an early B-17e with the remote belly turret. :)

Thanks. I am tempted at diving into a Lincoln conversion but with Airfix coming out with a new tool Shackleton, I fear that a Airfix Lincoln will soon follow. :P

I did the Lincoln conversion with the Airfix Lanc and the Flightpath set. Not as daunting as you might think so I would say go for it. Although you might well be right about the Lincoln coming out!!.
