The mice are in the back room sewing away madly even as we speak.

Obviously, I wouldn't swear on the forum, but if a could it'd be elongated by a lot of extra 'U' in the middle. I'm with Paul and his emoticon, this looks scary!

Passenger cabin done. I've now decided against curtains as they don't seem to have been used by the commercial carriers at this time. Sorry Andrew.
Cockpit done except for control wheels.

Looks fantastic, even without the drapery.

Re: Barry's Stinson SM 6000B Trimotor
So...This is how I approached the problem of the windscreen:
The plan was to affix the center section first and then the outboard pieces in turn.
To get the shape of the outside pieces, stretch tape over the opening and use a pencil to mark along the sharp edges of the existing pieces. This didn't work very well for some reason...the resulting shapes were all over sized
and had to be carved/filed down.
Nevertheless, this was the process....
In the end, the sequential installation plan didn't work for me either. I wound up removing the center section and gluing it to both the outer pieces to form sort of a fan-like piece which i could 'fold' along the still soft join lines. With a little more trim-fit-trim-fit etc. the thing finally fit. (more or less)
After some filler in the seams, I have this:
This is stretched sprue, lightly sanded, representing ribs on the tail planes.
On the under side, just scribed lines.
Tail attached. Next the tail planes, then the wings, then all that struttery suspending the engines in the proper location under the wings.

Stretching sprue?....heat it to a soft saggyness over a candle and pull smoothly . If it pulls apart, it was heated too much...try again. Some sprue doesn't work well. Try a different manufacturer.
