Airfix 1/72 Harrier GR.1

Started this one the other night.

The original pitot didn't last long so was replaced with brass tubing,

That looks excellent Chris. I'm presuming that, as the build is in this section of the forum, it is going to be wearing a whiff scheme?

I used Humbrol acrylics for the scheme, Dark Earth and Light Stone over Light Aircraft Grey.

What is the difference between the scheme you have used and the scheme used on the actual aircraft? I thought yours looked to have a lighter shade of grey on the upper surface but I put that down to the lighting.

He has used Light Stone and green on the top, I should imagine that would have been effective in the Desert.
