Looking very good so far. Can't miss a WW1 era ship, still had clean lines and uncluttered open decks of the old sailing navy ....

It's my model and I'll do what I want with it.

Re: Kaiserliche Torpedo Boot
Quite a session today: I am halfway through little stuff onboard plus had done additional railings on the pilothouse/bridge. Decided to split this activity in half to make concentration possible, so I am getting at it again tomorrow.
I am getting pretty excited about the A86, the model, however little on a thick side, has really great potential.

Wow, it really is small isn't it? I didn't realise until I saw it on the paint jar.

Hi Marek!
I watch your work, but if you put your ship on a Tamiya box with paint, I saw that this little thing.

Re: Kaiserliche Torpedo Boot
Well, lots of work, rigging made my hands fell like they belonged to hippopotamus. Nothing unusual. It is 90% complete, mostly painted up except for some touch-ups (after rigging is done fully). I have used the EZ line for rigging, first time and I do recommend it. Works fine with CA glues. The canvas covers were done with ... school glue (PVA type) on straight stretches and Kristal Klear on the bend. Looks good enough from a meter . I have to stop the work till 18th since I am travelling and will definitely not be able to finish it up before tomorrow. Not to hold you guys, I would declare it NF, then just finish it upon arrival. If you guys decide to keep the thread running that is even better since I should be done about 20th.

Thank you guys for watching this thread so far!

Re: Kaiserliche Torpedo Boot
That looks terrific Marek. You've done a great job.
The question of extending the GB will be left in the capable hands of TomW and lancfan as I'll be abdicating captaincy and abandoning ship in a couple of days, possibility fetching up on the Barbary Coast

Well, slightly before the deadline ......just
Base is temporary since I am working on a wavy sea-effect on it. A86 must be declared finished since I have no benchtime left.

Marek!
I am glad that you gave advice to finish it before the closing GB. Often there I looked to see progress on your work on this interesting ship.
Fantastic little thing! I hope that this torpedo boat will be the beginning of growing collection
And can you take a picture of your little model with a coin? US cent, or a European? To see the scale?
Regards!

Nicely done and with the kind of detail that draws you in.

Saturday Kaiser Special with the One Pound Coin
Not a bad model by any means. It's sistership is down the production line as soon as I can free up resources.
