These last couple of weeks I've been moving my 'cave' from our old 'box-room', into the much bigger spare bedroom, and it's been a nightmare. You don't realise how much 'stuff' you've collected until you try to move it all.
It'll be worth it for the extra space, but did you ever start something, then wish you'd left well alone...?
Today and tomorrow (in between the usual day-to day chores) I'm wiring up the spray booth, and sorting the vent-hose - in the hope of being able to put paint on plastic by the weekend.
Until the reminder message, I hadn't even thought about which kit to do for this GB, so had the 5 candidates on the bench last night, and I'm still not decided.
These are the prospective victims:
Unless someone else starts an Airfix DC3 by the weekend, I'll probably do that in the Dan-Air boxart markings - Though I've also been looking forward to varying degrees, to doing all the others.
The Super-Connie as Lufthansa D-ALIN (the decal sheet also covers D-ALID, D-ALEM, D-ALEP, and a couple of TWA machines) - The Vanguard in BEA livery - A Britannia 737 - and 727 in Alitalia colours (all from the kit decals)
Super-Connie is probably second favourite for the GB, mainly because the other 3 could do with a rescribe.
Anyway..
Fingers crossed for a weekend start - and I'll amend the thread title when I've made a decision.
