Just catching up: your 1/72 Dragon is marvellous. The weathering and dust effect is spot n - I could asily mistake that for a much larger scale.
The Matilda also looks superb - especially in the Caunter scheme. Well done for both models.

Re: Paul's Attempts
Not my subject I'm afraid but I can appreciate a well built and beautifully painted model. Nice one Paul.
Best wishes

Oh my, you should feel proud of that caunter. The Matilda engine deck is a pig to paint over.
The past, present, and future walked into a bar. It was tense.

Really good work, masking straight lines on that surface
I like to carve old kits into something roughly aircraft/tank shaped...

Inspiring, the Cauter scheme is something I want to have a crack at one day.

Re: Paul's Attempts
Thanks guys. I have to do some chipping and weathering on the Matilda but ran out a gas for a bit. I have set it aside just so I don't blech it up in a last minute hasty push.
Excited to say I had a new local model shop open very near to me! I had to take a look and had no intention of buying anything right away but....

Re: Paul's Attempts
That's a great couple of purchases!
Jim, you already have enough kits in your stash to start your own! In fact, you probably HAVE more than most LMS's!!!!!

Re: Paul's Attempts
Good to hear new model shops actually appear occasionally! The only one easily accessible for me shut down during the lockdowns and never came back. At least there are a couple of fantasy/figure places around here so paints aren't a problem to find.
Wise move taking a step back from the Matilda - that caunter scheme should not be spoiled.
