I'm back and the spokes for the wheels have arrived.
I got 3 sets so I should have enough, including casualties ....

They will make a big difference
My work bench is starting to look like Portsmouth Naval Dockyard.

Hmmmm. It almost looks like you're building this from scratch...

Re: John's RNAS Rolls Royce Armoured Car
Things have not gone well, but they are going ....
First, I am unsure if my base kit is really 1/32 and/or my drawing is really 1/35 and I finally ended up rescaling the drawing to be closer to the size of the kit and will proceed from there by eyeball for proportions.
With that out of the way, I was cleaning up the frame and broke off the front part in several pieces, not all of which I could recover. That lead me to cutting and fitting (see above) a "floor" to the frame so I could glue the pieces to it. Good enough.
And here we are starting to cut and fit the body parts - the bonnet/hood being shown here.
I really need to back up and decide how much of the underside I intend to show and get that sorted before I actually start building the body.

The bonnet is taking shape, with a radiator inside, and the axles are on ....
The plan, such as it is, is to work my way from front to rear, section by section.

Nice work on this so far John.
Just a thought here, that driver could fairly easily be converted to a greatcoated Staff Officer, standing beside the car.
