Andrew's Firestreak Hunter *Finished*

A simple GB, convert one thing to another - any subject, any scale, any era, any method, but ending up with a different variant, than what the bits provide for in the box.
GB runs 16th April to 29th May and your host is Martin R.

The PE windscreen wipers have been installed.

As black objects on a black background, there's not a lot to see

The gun pod has been installed, and true to form, did not blend in nicely with the fuselage :omg

A bit of filler has been applied, and I'll need to do a wee paint touch up.

Ready for the final varnishing now. But the Airfix Be2c is occupying the paint station.

Andrew, I have a question. It was all painted up, decalled and the canopy unmasked and then you said you were going to do 'final varnishing'. So did you remask the canopy for that or what?

I shielded it with a post-it note while spraying. Saves loads of time.

And there are very delicate PE windscreen wipers on the canopy, which I doubt would survive me slapping Tamiya's finest all over!
