Looking good to me Rob. Seems from the background stash that you are something of a Star Trek and Star Wars fan. I've also spotted a bit of Blake's Seven in that stash too - a classic bit of 70's British sci-fi that I watched avidly in my youth.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

The Strikemasters just happened to be parked in front of the SF section of the stash. I'm a fan of anything that will supply cool looking flying things. The red "flying car" like thing sitting on to of the D-7 is from "Last Exile", and the (unrecognisable from the picture) thing on top of that is from "Macross", with some equally unrecognisable eggplanes in the background.

Everything but the gear doors is on the model, and the process of decalling is started. Small boring steps from here, until there's a completed model.

Ow shoot. I got the anti glare panel on skewed

Some devious and/or cunning plan will need to be devised to fix this

As it turned out, only very limited cunning was required to fix the anti-glare panel; not only was it skewed, it was also much too small. Increased to it's proper size, it covered most of the old panel, and the smallish rim that sticks out, get lost in low contrast.

After that, it was just a matter of painting the canopy frames (always a nervous moment), and hitting it with Purity Seal (even more nerve racking business; it would not be the first time a clear coat from a rattlecan wrecked the paintjob). Fortunately, all went well.

Better and more pictures tomorrow..

Very nicely done Rob and I agree, that is a good save of the anti-glare panel.

Sweet looking Strikemaster, Rob. Nice to see it in Omani markings.

As promised, some better piccies of the Strikemaster, both solo and in formation with it's future self (as near as I can tell, both models represent the same aircraft, several years apart)

Those are both really nice. I particularly like the grey one.

Matchbox canopies may be quite thick but they are often commendably clear.
