jssel wrote:Some proper blitzfood. Very nice progress. Just a note here: I have been trying Vallejo Model Air paints and my first attempts appear similar. Model Art goes on right out of the bottle.
I had a similar experience with Vallejo Air and could never get them to spray straight out of the bottle. Having said that, their new metalic paints do spray straight from the bottle.

The one paint I never have issue with is Tamiya.

This is a lovely looking kit. I am almost tempted to the dark side (armour, ships cars are all the dark side to me). Good info. on the paint as I have a few of those little Starter Kit pots still that just looked like thick goop to me.

Not sure about the choice of lunch though - but hey, it's your lunch, so you build it how you want it :-)

Apart from decals this one is done.

I added some of the supplied black to the green and post shaded the panel lines just to brake up the flat tones.

After thinning the paint it does spray OK but needs lots of thin coats, these paint pots are not as bad as I first thought

The kit is excellent but for a starter kit has lots of very small bit that young modellers might find difficult, but on the plus side if they didn't use them the Cromwell would still look better than any other Airfix tank.

I'm going to leave it to fully dry befor attempting the small decals.

Looking tasty.

How much moonshine vodka did you have to pour into that T-34 before you could swipe it's base? :ha:

That looks great Alan and what a speedy build! The base robbed from your T-34 build really suits it.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.
