Finally managed to square this one away. Hasegawa 1/72 F-104G Starfighter in NASA service.

I just did a little weathering at the back end as these NASA birds always appear spotless.
Sadly the Xtracrylic white has yellowed a little since the application of Humbrol gloss varnish. :frown:

I'll put some more images up in the Aviation section.
Time to dig out another bench queen. 8-)

Beautiful looking widow-maker! You've nailed the paint demarcations. Definitely one to be proud of.
Pity about that yellowing. I found thaty happening with Humbrol gloss varnish the couple of times I used it so I haven't touched it since.

Now that´s one different looking F-104, that bird looks good in all kinds of liveries! Still have one in 1/144 sitting on the shelf, half-finished....:-(
Haven´t done anything on my shelf queens for some time, but I should find the time to finish at least one Mustang before the end of May....

Thank you, for hosting this, Mav!
Let's see, when I'll find some bench time again 8-(
This SB helped me a lot getting my s.o.d. a little more empty!
I'll move my SB builds to my workbench soon.

Didn´t have much time for modelling in the past 8 weeks, no work done on the Mustangs, but on some other s.o.d.-builds,
like my Sturmovik, and my MB Warhawk, and started an old Hase kit, that 1960ies F-86F Sabre (my fascination for old kits is not waning yet...)
But not enough done yet, to show it in my workbench thread, but that´ll change in the next few days ;-)
