Totally agree. Mike's stuff always looks so sharp and light. I think I've said this a hundred times now, but its like seeing brightly polished, well cut gems. I can look at it for hours.

You're definitely on the way to revive this old kit and produce a great result at the end! I will follow with interest as I have an Ar-68 waiting restauration and the desired colour scheme is quite similar. The bright grey is RLM 60? (The Huma instruction sheet defines RLM 02, but that seems much to green to me.. 🤔)

I hope you know what I mean, sorry I don't know how to say what it is or how you do it but it just catches the eye so much. You keep the details so crisp.

Thank you both for those very nice comments. I don't see it myself, but I suspect what you're reacting to is maybe just the photography. I've got a couple of flash-heads, a softbox, and properly calibrated white balance, so it does illuminate the detail (and the mistakes) nicely.

Thanks KM. The grey should be RLM 63, I believe. The colour profile looks a bit green to me (more like 02) though I'm not a stickler about these things. I'll go with a light-ish grey with a slight green tinge.

Cheers Martin. I've spent some more time on it today, mostly applying the decals which did in fact fit over the white shapes I'd masked for them, so that was a relief. The propellor's also done, and I 3D-printed some gun barrels which I'm quite pleased with, though I'm not sure how much they'll be visible once the upper wing goes on.

Another winner, Mike. Colorful little beastie.

That scheme suits the plane very well, a nice change from the Grey/Red interwar scheme known from the Hasegawa He-51 & Huma Ar-68 Box art 😀👍🏼
I'd also mention something about how nice and clean the build is, but that would be difficult without copying what the others already wrote 😉🤭 (OK now I managed to mention it without copying someone 🤡)
Just great!!

Looking very smart (and sharp  ) indeed!
Best wishes

If you can walk away from a landing, it's a good landing. If you use the airplane the next day, it's an outstanding landing

It does almost seem a shame to put the top wing on, it obstructs so much of the shape and colour scheme.

The Heinkel looks beautiful. A great scheme.
