Re: Ray'S Sentry
Main painting complete
The wheels are now on and I have some detail painting to fix up on the antennas.
Attaching the radome became a pain, the pylons have pinched in at the top, so I damaged some paintwork with glue trying to attach it. The second attempt coming up, then the main gear doors go on and decals.

Man that looks good. Hopefully the radome won't give you too much more in the way of difficulties but it is a sizeable bit of kit to fit.
Doing - Tamiya 1/35th Universal Carrier.

Re: Ray'S Sentry
All good intentions to finish it on the weekend and I had to sand back some paint on the radome and respray. Some more masking to go and I hope I can reinstall it soon.
I suppose I can start decalling the rest of the model

Re: Ray'S Sentry
Well after much dilly-dallying some more progress to report
The radome finally was painted to an acceptable standard and it was fitted along with the horizontal stabs.
Then I spent the best part of 4 hours decalling
Got to the engines and it and was time for a break, there are about 15 decals on each engine, I managed the first 4 on the first one. National marking will be the last to go on.
