Top stuff, Ratch, both the 28th Regiment and the horse artillery figures are excellent looking Frenchmen!

The cuirassiers were the heaviest and most spectacular of the heavy cavalry, and as a result enjoyed a popularity which still exists to this day. Their role was to smash through a weakened enemy and win the day, and while only a part of the varied French cavalry they are often seen as the most recognisable, represented here as the 9e Régiment de Cuirassiers.
