Thanks for all the welcomes - much appreciated!

Love the profile pic, Rob - your own work?
Sadly, not; it was a public domain image I stumbled upon a number of years back. Aviation photography is one of those things I would really love to pursue but as with so many things it is finding the time. First things first I need to make a start on these models before I take up yet another hobby!

Welcome to the community, Calvin. I hope you will become an active participant here on UAMF. I'm no fan of the Facebook so I hope you will share your builds here with us as well

Hi everyone!

I'm James, you may know me from twitter as jamesjhistory or seen me give talks before. I'm a historian focussing (mainly) on the war in the air. I'm looking forward very much to getting back into the hobby! I'm looking at joining the Blenheim build. Those of you who know me will know I have a massive soft spot for the aircraft!

I started building models as a boy and have been on and off again as life dictates. I mainly build 1/72 aircraft (mainly RAF WW2) but recently made some 1/35 builds of military vehicles. I did build a 1/24 Spitfire ages back and a few 1/48 aircraft too.

Hello everyone
I’m on here looking for inspiration, tips and tricks for varied modelling. I am a cancer sufferer who has got back into modelling to help with my rehabilitation especially with my fingers.
I’m ex RAF so have more of an interest in that field (5sqn) and have attempted a few WW2 vehicles and now getting back to aircraft too after something like a 50 year break! Things have certainly changed since my early modelling times.
Cheers
Mark.
